Feeling stuck, anxious or not quite yourself?

Warm, integrative counselling in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, and online.

Counselling gives you time and space to make sense of what's going on, without judgement. Together we'll work out what's keeping you stuck, and what would help you feel more like yourself again.

How I can help

Whatever has brought you here, you don't need the right words. These are some of the things people most often come to me with.

Anxiety and overthinking

When your mind won't switch off, we'll slow things down and find practical ways to quieten the noise.

Low mood

Feeling flat, heavy or far from yourself. We'll make sense of it together and take small steps back towards the light.

Burnout and work stress

Running on empty for too long. Space to step back, set boundaries and work out what you need.

Relationships

Patterns that keep repeating with partners, family or friends, and how to change the ones that hurt.

Self-esteem

Quietening the inner critic and building a kinder, steadier relationship with yourself.

Life changes and loss

New jobs, parenthood, moving, retirement, grief. Support through the changes that unsettle everything.

Hannah Ellery, counsellor

Hi, I'm Hannah.

I've been a counsellor for ten years, and before that I spent eight years teaching in secondary schools, so I know how easily stress and self-doubt can build up when life is busy.

My work is warm, down to earth and collaborative. You won't be analysed from a distance: we'll work it out together.
